President of The Personal Data Protection Service shall manage the Personal Data Protection Service.

The Parliament of Georgia shall elect the President of The Personal Data Protection Service for a 6 year term.

President of The Personal Data Protection Service  shall be independent in exercising his/her powers and shall not be subordinate to any official or body.

President  of The Personal Data Protection service is inviolable. Any type of influence on the President of The Personal Data Protection service or illegal interference with his/her activities, shall be prohibited and is punishable by law.

Since march, 2022, Lela Janashvili has been carrying out the authority of the President of The Personal Data Protection service
