Statement on the initiation of an examination into the lawfulness of sharing location data by the service agency for victims of human trafficking


Considering the high priority of protecting the data of vulnerable groups, the Personal Data Protection Service has initiated an examination into the lawfulness of sharing location data by the service agency for victims of human trafficking.

During an interview on the Public Broadcaster, the Public Defender, Levan Ioseliani, revealed the region where the service agency for victims of human trafficking is located and discussed the situation surrounding it.

Due to high public interest, we will make the results of the examination into the lawfulness of personal data processing public.
