In order to raise awareness of personal data protection issues in the educational sector, the service actively continues to conduct cognitive lectures.
This time, meetings were held with employees of N200 N202, N203 and N193 public schools of Tbilisi. It should be emphasized that students with special educational needs receive education in these schools.
During the meetings, special attention was paid to the importance of protecting the Personal Data of Minors and the processing of sensitive data, which is particularly important in an institution staffed by students with special educational needs.
It was explained for the attending public that the separate grounds for sensitive data processing are determined by a special norm of the Law of Georgia "On Personal Data Protection", which establishes the prerequisites for lawful processing.
The meetings were conducted in a question and answer format. The audience had the opportunity to obtain detailed information on issues of interest to them.
