Representatives of the Personal Data Protection Service met with the DPO of the Croatian supervisory authority (AZOP)


Representatives of the Personal Data Protection Office held an online meeting with DPO of the supervisory authority of the republic of Croatia (AZOP) - Marija Vujeva.

The working meeting was on the theme of “DPOs in the Personal Data Protection Supervisory Authority – best practice and sharing experiences”.

During the interactive meeting, participants overviewed the active EU and Georgian regulations on the obligation of appointing a DPO and their functions and duties, after which Marija Vujeva shared her experiences on the practical aspects of work as a Data Protection Officer.

The meeting was held under the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia and the Supervisory Authority of the Republic of Croatia. The memorandum aimed at establishing European standards and promoting best practices.

The parties agreed to another working meeting at the end of the year for the purpose of sharing experiences and practices.
