The Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia conducted an informative/practical meeting with the Data Protection Officers (DPOs).

During of the meeting, the Data Protection Officer of the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia, Tengiz Mamulia and the Head of the Private Sector Oversight Department, Archil Javelidze presented the changes introduced by the new Law of Georgia "On Personal Data Protection", the role of the Data Protection Officers (DPOs) and their functions and obligations to the audience.

The meeting was held in an interactive mode and the audience received practical advice on issues of interest to them.

The meeting was attended by up to 120 people.

The Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia will continue to actively organise information meetings.
