Employees of the Service participated in an online conference organized by the Greek supervisory authority

Employees of the Personal Data Protection Service participated in an online conference organized by the Greek supervisory authority.

During the conference, the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) presented their new project for small businesses, which will help maintain data protection standards during their activities. (https://www.edpb.europa.eu/sme-data-protection-guide/home_en)

They also discussed important topics in personal data protection such as, data protection of children, and data protection challenges in the new era.

Several EU organizations participated in the conference. They shared their future vision regarding personal data protection.

The Greek supervisory authority presented a report on an online project called "byDefault". The conference was attended by up to 300 representatives from several authorities.
