Employees of municipal bodies were provided with online training

Employees of municipal bodies (city assemblies and city halls) as well as employees of legal entities subordinate to the City Hall, including Data Protection Officers were provided with online trainings on personal data protection topics.

The training was conducted by Deputy Head of the Department of Planned Inspections - Avtandil Lepsveridze, he presented the audience with information on the grounds and principles of personal data protection, rights of data subjects, data breach (incident) notification, data protection impact assessment, data security, data protection officer institute and administrative offences as provided for by the law.

The meeting was held in cooperation with The National Association of Local Authorities of Georgia and had up to 60 attendees.

The service will actively continue to hold informative meetings in the future
