Representatives of the Personal Data Protection Service, along with Professor Thomas Hoeren from the University of Münster, held a public seminar at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.

The seminar focused on data protection law and the GDPR, discussing European and international data protection standards, as well as the 2024 Georgian data protection law.

During the lecture, Nikoloz Popiashvili, Head of the President's Office of the Personal Data Protection Service, and Ana Tokhadze, Head of the Department of International Relations, Analytics, and Strategic Development, spoke about the personal data protection law and the powers of the Personal Data Protection Service.

The meeting was conducted in an interactive format, allowing attendees to engage with topics of particular interest to them.
