Representatives of the Personal Data Protection Service participated in the annual conference dedicated to International Personal Data Protection Day, held on January 28, 2025, in Brussels, Belgium. This important event, organized by the Council of Europe and the European Data Protection Supervisor, aims to bring together leading data protection specialists to discuss contemporary challenges in the field and explore potential future developments.

The conference aims to create a platform for discussing modern and future challenges in data protection. The event is attended by representatives from the European Data Protection Supervisor and national Data Protection Authorities.

The Personal Data Protection Service is represented at the conference by Nikoloz Popiashvili (Head of the Office of the President), Lika Kobaladze (Head of the Legal Department) and Beka Meladze (lawyer of the Private Sector Oversight Department).
