The Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia held an informational meeting with representatives of the Public Service Development Agency in a hybrid format.

During the training, Avtandil Lepsveridze, Deputy Head of the Service's planned Inspection Department, and Tengiz Mamulia, Officer of the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia, introduced the attendees to the main aspects of personal data protection and the standards for personal data processing. 

The informational session covered important topics related to the data processing, including the scope of the law, legal basis and principles of data processing, data security, incident reporting, rules for conducting audio and video surveillance, biometric data processing, international data transfers, data protection impact assessments, the role of the Data Protection Officer and more.

The meeting was conducted in an interactive format and addressed data processing challenges that arise in everyday activities. During the question and answer session, participants gained practical knowledge about the principles, legal bases, security measures, and best practices for working with personal data.
