The President of Personal Data Protection Service Lela Janashvili met with chairperson of the Supreme Court of Georgia Nino Kadagidze.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the important changes provided by the new law “On Personal Data Protection” and issues of lawfulness of data processing within the administrative functions of general courts. Likewise, Practical aspects of appointment/designation a Personal Data Officer.

The meeting also addressed future plans for close cooperation.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Chairperson of the Supreme Court of Georgia, Giorgi Mikautadze, Chairperson of the Rustavi City Court Mamia Pkhakadze, Manager of the Supreme Court of Georgia Akaki Maisuradze, Chief Consultant of the Bureau of the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Georgia Lasha Lursmanashvili, First Deputy President of the Personal Data Protection Service Otar Chakhunashvili, Deputy Head of the Office of the Head of Service Tengiz Mamulia and the head of the legal department Lika Kobaladze.
