Representatives of the Personal Data Protection Service held a meeting with delegates from Bosnia and Herzegovina


Representatives of the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia met with delegates from Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Georgian Election Administration.

The head of the service’s Public Sector Oversight Department, Ketevan Kratsashvili and the deputy head of the legal department, Shavleg Todua, introduced the Personal Data Protection Service mandate to the members of the delegation, as well as to the representatives of the supervisory authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina. They also reviewed the legislative changes that went into force on March 1, and discussed about the issues of lawfulness of data processing relevant to the electoral process.

The educational visit of the of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s delegation to Georgia was conducted under the auspices of OSCE. As part of the visit, the delegation members met with representatives of the Election Administration, Center of Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Trainings, as well as representatives of the Public Service Development Agency.
