Meeting with the representatives of Educational Resource Centers

The representatives of the Personal Data Protection Service met with the representatives of the Tbilisi Educational Resource Centers - territorial units of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia.

The Head of the President's Office - Nikoloz Popiashvili, the Head of the Legal Department - Lika Kobaladze and the expert of the Service in the field of education - Tamar Abazadze informed the representatives of the Educational Centers about the important changes in the legislation and the events planned by the Personal Data Protection Service. The planned activities will contribute to raising awareness about the processing of personal data among the subjects of the educational system, for whom the relevant knowledge is a necessary condition for exercising their rights.

The representatives of the service also discussed about the details of data processing, which is also relevant in educational processes and listened to the needs of the Educational Resource Centers in the process of implementing the Georgian Law ""On Personal Data Protection".
