Representatives of the Personal Data Protection Authority introduced the novelties of the law of Georgia “On Personal Data Protection” to the “Georgian AI Association”.

During the meeting Nikoloz Popiashvili, the Head of the President's Office and the head of the legal department, Lika Kobaladze introduced in detail the novelties that are important for legislative compliance in the field of technology, business activity and internal processes. The speakers also defined the mandate of the Personal Data Protection Service, functions, and specifics of activities and the importance of establishing international standards.

We would like to remind you that the main part of the new Law of Georgia "On Personal Data Protection" came into force on 1 March. In order to familiarize with the changes provided by the new law, the Service continues to hold trainings and meetings for public and private institutions, as well as for all stakeholders.
