The President of personal Data Protection Service Dr. Dr. Lela Janashvili held a meeting with of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Georgia Meline Arakelian.

At the meeting, Dr. Dr. Lela Janashvili introduced the mandate, mission, work and future plans of the Personal Data Protection Service to the ambassador. Also emphasized the issue of the implementation of the new law, the activities carried out for the institutional development of the service and strategic priorities.

The meeting was also attended the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands of the Policy officer - Lela Lomia and the Head of the Department of International Relations, Analyticis and Strategic Development - Ana Tokhadze.

Ana Tokhadze made a presentation, she reviewed the activities carried out in order to raise public awareness in the process of implementation of the law. Also spoke about the international formats in which the service actively participates.

In turn, Meline Arakelian positively assessed the service's activities and expressed willingness to deepen cooperation with the service in the future.
