President of the Personal Data Protection Service Prof. Dr. Dr. Lela Janashvili met with the President of the Constitutional Court Prof. Dr. Merab Turava.

The main topic of the meeting was the main changes introduced by the new Law of Georgia "On Personal Data Protection".

The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Head of the President's Office - Tengiz Mamulia, the Heads of the Secretariat of the Constitutional Court, Human Resources Management and Mandatory Service.

During the meeting, they discussed about the changes in the legislation, attention was paid to the obligation to appoint a data protection officer. We would like to remind you that the new law came into force on March 1, although the mentioned amendment will come into force on June 1.
