The Personal Data Protection Service, in collaboration with the National Association of Local Authorities of Georgia (NALA), held an online informational meeting for municipal employees.

The meeting was attended by nearly 70 employees from 48 municipalities.

During the meeting, the Personal Data Protection Officer of the Personal Data Protection Service, Tengiz Mamulia, provided the audience with information about the legal basis and principles of personal data processing. He also discussed the following topics: incident reporting, recording of information related to processing, and assessing data protection impact assessment. Additionally, he covered other updates introduced by the Law of Georgia “on Personal Data Protection”.

The meeting was conducted in a discussion format, giving attendees and the audience had the opportunity to receive detailed information on topics of interest.
