The Personal Data Protection Service held an informational meeting with the directors of Georgian, ethnic minority Armenian and Azerbaijani-speaking schools in the Tsalka municipality.

The meeting was led by the Personal Data Protection Service’s Personal Data Protection Officer, Tengiz Mamulia, and education expert Tamar Abazadze.

Representatives of the Service introduced the audience to the main aspects of personal data protection and the standards for personal data processing.

Special attention was paid to the protection of minors' personal information during the meeting.

The meeting was conducted in an interactive format and addressed challenges related to data processing in everyday activities.

At the end of the meeting, participants were provided with a brochure “Personal Data Protection in the Field of Education” which was prepared by the Personal Data Protection Service.
