An informational meeting was held at the LEPL State Procurement Agency

The Personal Data Protection Service held an informational meeting for employees of the LEPL State Procurement Agency. The session focused on key aspects of personal data processing, including the scope of the law, legal grounds for data processing, data retention periods and security measures, rules for audio and video surveillance, the processing of biometric data, and other relevant topics.

The meeting was held by Maia Gogoladze, Head of the Department of Administrative and Economical Support; Sophio Shamugia, Head of the Department of the Planned Inspections; and Ketevan Kratsashvili, Head of the Public Sector Oversight Department

The meeting was conducted in an interactive format and the agency’s employees had the opportunity to receive detailed information on challenges related to data processing in their daily work, as well as on other topics of interest to them.
