The Personal Data Protection Service conducted a training on personal data protection for employees of General Inspectorate of the Ministry of Defense, Military Police and other units.
During the training, the participants of the meeting were provided with information on the regulations of the "Personal Data Protection Law" of Georgia, as well as new institutions related to it. Additionally, based on the specifics of the activities of the mentioned subdivisions of the Ministry of Defense, attention was focused on the legal grounds for processing personal data, principles of processing, security measures for data protection, the importance of assessing personal data breach and reporting it to Personal Data Protection Service.
The training took place at the Defense Institutional Building School and was held by Shavleg Todua, Deputy Head of the Legal Department of the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia.
The meeting was interactive and the attendees received answers to all of their questions.
